Build Profitable Websites With Free Resources

It can be very difficult to try to make money online while you are still working in full time employment. Family responsibilities and work related problems often eat into the time you have available for building your online business. One option would be to outsource some of the work but this then means you need to make much more money in order to start making a profit. It doesn't help that many guru's assume that you have all day to follow their programs.

At the Income academy membership site we have had numerous people join who have spent a lot of money on e-books and programs but have no income to show for it. This is usually due to a number of things. either they haven't had the time or the programs have been developed for users with more expertise.

In one case a member had spent over $1500 and hadn't made any money back. What they failed to realize that no matter what the program or type of site you will still need to promote it.

In one of the forums i visit recently one of the members was telling everyone how he planned to start off by building 30 sites then leaving them for a few weeks and then seeing which ones were making money. He failed to grasp the fact that having bought 30 domains he would need to make over $300 before he broke even. Despite my best efforts he maintained that he had more chance of making money with 30 sites as he did by concentrating on one or 2 sites. He completely failed to take into account that he would need to promote all 30 sites and that would take 30 times more work that on 1 sites.

You need to look for something that's quick to set up, requires very little maintenance and is easy to promote. Once these initial sites are making you money then you can re-invest some of the profit into outsourcing and take on much bigger projects. It's also preferable to make mistakes on small projects.

Before I moved onto my current projects I chose to build a number of Adsense sites. These took up very little time once they were built and I was able to promote them and update them on a regular basis. As soon as I was getting a good Income from them I was able to move on to other projects. I knew that whatever happened I had the income from the Adsense sites to fall back on.

If you are starting out or have yet to be successful take advantage of the free resources around you. Earlier in the year I combined 2 free resources with 2 monetization methods on a domain that cost me $8. This site takes less than 10 minutes a week to update. So far it's earned me in excess of $300. This isn't a huge amount but it's a regular income that could help you to move on to bigger things plus it costs me nothing and it only takes 10 minutes a week. All I used was Wordpress and Google alerts and Adsense and a Data Feed.

It makes sense to use as many free resources as possible. Every cent you save means that you will be in profit much sooner.
