I bet you've had more bad days than you can count. I know I have! Bad days are one thing, but not long ago, Rhonda Byrne was having a bad YEAR! Her business was in the toilet, she struggled to pay her bills, and if that weren't bad enough, her father died. Who wouldn't be ready to give up after that? Luckily, her daughter handed her a book one night. It led Rhonda to what she calls The Secret, and her life would never be the same.

As soon as she could, Rhonda Byrne called together her production crew to let them know about the new movie she had in mind. She told them about The Secret, told them she didn't have any money, and begged them to have faith like she had. She told them to focus only on the outcome. It worked. Her crew was behind her, and production was on its way.

An example of focus paying off came toward the end of movie production when Rhonda regretted not getting any close-up shots of people she had interviewed. To her surprise, there WERE close-ups hidden among the scenes, and they were exactly the ones she wanted. What a great outcome!

Rhonda Byrne said not long ago, "Faith is total heart trust without knowing with your mind." That's The Secret... at least, part of The Secret, anyway. It's why Rhonda decided to take on such a monumental task without any money in the budget. She had faith and focus, and she knew that would help her reach her goal.

You've heard the saying, "You are what you eat." Truth be told, you are what you THINK as well. Saying things like, "I'm broke," or "I'm fat," makes you believe you are broke and fat whether you are or not. Saying something like that puts the focus of your mind on it. You should only focus on positives. When you say, "I'm ...", make it positive. Doing so will help you become what you want to be.

Life is full of challenges that each of us face daily. Filling your heart with love is one way The Secret helps people get through challenges. When Rhonda Byrne began production on her movie, she was barely paying the bills. However, she did something the rest of the world would probably consider crazy. She withdrew her bill money gave it to strangers on the street! Her money was doing something positive for others.

To have The Secret, you must first have focus. What do you want? What would you like to become? Turn those thoughts into a mental laser beam, and ignore all the negative thoughts in your mind. Figure out what it is you really want, and then focus your mind on it like a laser beam. Ignore everything else. Rhonda wanted so much for the whole world to know the focus secret that she gave away MILLIONS of DVDs before the movie even started making money!

To get what you want, you have to take action. It's one thing to focus your mind on something and ignore everything else, but focus isn't the end of the story. Take the marketing of The Secret, for example. No one will find out about a movie without advertising it (even if the advertising is by word of mouth), so Rhonda decided to market The Secret using only online trailers. Have focus, and take action! That's The Secret!
